We produce large parts of our own electricity with a combined heat and power unit. We heat our hotel rooms with the resulting heat..
- Green electricity
We cover the remaining energy requirements in the house with 100% green electricity from Lichtblick - from German wind and solar energy.
- Heat
We have set up automatic temperature control in all areas at Voshövel. This means, for example, that the heating in the rooms can only be switched on when the outside temperature is below 20°C. In this way we reduce energy requirements and CO2 consumption.
- Beleuchtung
All lighting in the house is equipped with LED lights. These consume over 80 percent less electricity than incandescent bulbs.
- Photovoltaic system
Our photovoltaic system on the SPA building allows us to use solar energy, this provides us with an average of 46,800 kWh per year.
- Electric mobility
In our parking lot you will find 6 e-charging stations for your e-car.

Natural pool
Our natural pool is cleaned by an osmosis system, so we can do without chlorine. With the use of membrane electrolysis equipment, we achieve excellent water quality in the natural pool, without the use of chemical products. - Whirlpool
Our whirlpool is filled only when needed. By means of a switch on the pool, it fills within two minutes and after lack of movement, the water empties into the surge tank below. This allows us to significantly save energy, as the temperature of the water heated to 35°C is not released into the outside air.

In all our pool facilities, the surge water is collected underground, filtered and returned.
- Room cleaning
Our guests are allowed to decide for themselves whether the room should be cleaned or not. This way we can save resources and protect the environment. As a thank you for not having to clean the room every day, we hang a small gift on the room door.
- Grander water
Our water system is equipped with Grander water revitalization equipment. The system has been proven to reduce the lime content and has a kind of pro-biotic effect on the water. By using Grander water, drinking water no longer has to be packaged, transported and stored, but can be taken directly from the tap and drunk thanks to the system. At our tapping stations, there is also the possibility to enjoy the Grander water freshly chilled, unchilled and carbonated, depending on your preference.
